[tex] Slope = \dfrac{Y2-Y_1}{X_2-X_1} [/tex]

Give point (3, -2) and slope = 4

[tex]4= \dfrac{y+ 2}{x-3} [/tex]

[tex]4(x - 3) = (y + 2)[/tex]

Answer: 4(x - 3) = (y + 2)

Answer:

The equation of this line in point-slope form is y + 2 = 4(x - 3)

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to find this, start with the basic form of point-slope form.

y - y1 = m(x - x1)

Now put the slope in for m and the point in for (x1, y1)

y + 2 = 4(x - 3)
