To find the area of the pennant, we need to multiply the length by the width. 
12 x 18 = area
12 x 18 = 216
The answer is 216 square inches.

Question 7:
The perimeter of the square is 24cm and the area is 36 square cm.
The perimeter of the rectangle is 30cm and the area is 50 square cm. 
They have different perimeters and different areas.
