In Fench language, Laissez-faire means "Leave alone". This term is used to describe an economic method where a nation will leave all aspects of economy to the private sector with less (or no) government regulations. The government usually only involve in creating basic regulation and guarding the fairness of the competition.
This usually lead to lower taxes and increased competition within the market.
