The point-slope form of the linear equation is

[tex]y-b=m(x-a)[/tex]

So, we need to replace the poin and the slope in the previous formula

[tex]\begin{gathered} y-1=\frac{2}{3}(x-(-3)) \\ y-1=\frac{2}{3}x+\frac{2}{3}3 \\ y=\frac{2}{3}x+2+1 \\ \end{gathered}[/tex]

Then, the answer is

[tex]y=\frac{2}{3}x+3[/tex]

or

[tex]2x-3y+9=0[/tex]

Both equations are correct.
