3/7 - I got there by dividing the numerator and denominator each by 5

15 Divide 5 3
----- = -----
35 Divide 5 7

You're dividing 5 because 5 is a factor of 35 and 15. Which simplifies to 3/7, which can't be simplified to any lower terms, so therefore the answer is 3/7.
