Two number that multiply to 24 and add up to minus 11

Hello,

Let's x and y the 2 numbers

x*y=24
x+y=-11==>x=-11-y
==> (-11-y)y=24
==>-11y-y²-24=0
==>y²+11y+24=0
Δ==11²-4*24=25=5²
y=(-11+5)/2 or y=(-11-5)/2
==>(y=-3 and x=-11+3) or (y=-8 and x=-11+8)

Sol={(-8,-3),(-3,-8)}

The 2 numbers are -3 et -8.

6*4=24
24+11=240 I think?
