atomic mass H = 1.007 amu

Therefore :

H% =  atomic mass H / molar mass ( C₉H₆O₃ )   x 100

H % =  ( 1.007 /  162.14 ) x 100 =

H% = 0.00621 x 100 =

H% = 0.621
