Undo the subtraction of 4 by adding 4 to both sides

[tex]20 \ge v - 4[/tex]

[tex]20+4 \ge v-4+4 [/tex]

[tex]24 \ge v [/tex]

[tex] v \le 24 [/tex]

This means v is less than or equal to 24.
In other words, v can be equal to 24 or it can be smaller than 24

Add a positive 4 to each side of the equation. Your answer will then look like this: 24 is greater than V. So on a chart V, would have a value less or equal to 24.
